Cheeseburger casserole

Well, it is hopefully getting cooler ... And we can finally turn on the air conditioner...
So I came up with a creation for supper...  I have posted a blog on tater tot casserole... This is kind of like that... But has a lot more cheese...
Here are the ingredients...

 

Hamburger, Ragu cheese sauce, onions, green peppers and tater tots.  First I browned the hamburger with the diced green peppers and onions. While this was browning, I put the tater tots on a cookie sheet and baked them at 400 for 7 minutes.. 

After I browned the meat mixture, I drained it and put it back in the pan.
Then I added the cheese sauce

Let this simmer for about 5 minutes or until it is totally combined and heated ...
Next put it in a casserole dish

 

Now take the tater tots and put them on top

 

Bake this for 15 - 20 minutes at 350
And this is what it looks like when you are done

My brothers wedding cake

My brother got married yesterday.. beautiful wedding...
I made the wedding cake.. Actually it was a cupcake wedding cake...
Here is what it looked like

I am so pleased with the results...
It took 6 months to come up with the idea...
But I really think the bride and groom enjoyed it ...

Chicken Alfredo Casserole

My very best friend in the whole world Karen posted a recipe that was a chicken Alfredo lasagna.  It looked really tasty.  Only problem... I did not have any lasagna noodles... 
So I came up with my own creation...
Here are the ingredients...
Ziti noodles, 2 jars Alfredo sauce, fried onions, chicken, mixed vegetables, and cheese

I cooked the noodles and vegetables and added them to the cooked chicken and Alfredo sauce

 Here is what it looked like before it went into the oven.. Make sure you have plenty of sauce... The noodles will soak up some of the sauce...

I baked it for 20 minutes and took out of the oven

 

Topped it with French's onions and cheese

 

Then put it back in the oven for   10 more minutes...

 

 This is how it turned out...

It is time to blog again

Wow... It has been almost 8 months since my last blog...
So much has happened....
My last blog was actually on Nov 25, 2012... little did I know that less than 2 months later I would loose my mom.. who was my best friend, my hero, the sweetest angel in the whole world..
I lost my mom to cancer...
The last blog was dedicated to my mom... I miss her more than words can say..
But in honor to my mom...
It is time to blog again...
